In our chat interface, location info helps you decide who to connect with. If you're from the same state, you'll see the city name. If you're in the same country, you'll see state and city names. Different countries? You'll spot the country name.

Plus, we've got your time zone covered! Chat with clients and always know their local time.

Even for video calls, you'll see the caller's location on your incoming call screen.

Take control with our search engine option. Opt-in to show up only in your licensed state*, ensuring your profile doesn't pop up where you're not licensed. Just remember to enter your license details when setting up your Kounsel profile.

So, how can you add your location information to your counselor profile?

Mobile Users

1. Start the app.
2. Click on the Menu icon from the top left corner.
3. From the menu click “Counselor Profile”.
4. From “Counselor Profile”, scroll down and click “Location Information".
5. Click city and a search bar will pop up.
6. Search for the city, state and click on it.
7. Once selected, click “Save”.

Web Users

1. Open www.kounsel.io page.
2. Click “Login” from the top right corner.
3. From the home page, click “Profile” from the left corner.
4. From “Profile” scroll down and click “Location Information".
5. Enter the city, state and click on it.
6. Once selected, click “save”.
