Control How/When Clients Can Contact You

Kounsel understands that counselors are busy professionals. They may not be available for instant messaging without prior notification.

As a result, the Kounsel app has a feature that allows counselors to control how and when clients can contact them. With this feature, counselors have control over their time and availability.

How can I have clients contact me only when I am available on the app (Android)?

1. Start the app.
2. Click on the Menu icon in the top left corner.
3. From the menu, click "Settings."
4. Click "Counselor."
5. Select "Counseling Session."
6. Click "Only when I am available" to enable this.

How can I have clients message me only when I am available on the app (Web)?

1. Open the www.kounsel.io page.
2. Click the "Login" on the top right corner.
3. From the home page, click "Settings."
4. Click "Counselor" and select "Counseling Session."
5. Click "Only when I am available" to enable this.

How can I have only clients from licensed states contact me (Android)?

1. Start the app.
2. Click on the Menu icon in the top left corner.
3. From the menu, click "Settings."
4. Click "Counselor."
5. Go to "Counseling Session."
6. Click "Licensed state(s)" to enable this option.

How can I have only clients from licensed states contact me (Web)?

How can I have only clients with appointments contact me (Android)?

1. Start the app.
2. Click on the  Menu icon in the top left corner.
3. From the menu, click "Settings."
4. Click "Counselor."
5. Go to "Counseling Session."
6. Click "With appointment" to enable this.

How can I have only clients with appointments contact me (Web)?
