Kounsel's Refund Policy

At Kounsel, we are committed to providing a fair and transparent refund process for both clients and counselors. Below are our refund policies to ensure you understand how refunds work in different situations.

1. Refund Eligibility

  • Prepaid Appointments: Refunds apply only to prepaid appointments. Your payment will only be processed once your counselor accepts your request, and the charge will be based on their profile rate for the session duration.
  • Session Cancellations: A full refund is available if either the client or counselor cancels the session before the scheduled start time.

2. No-Show Policy

If a client books a session but does not attend, no refund will be issued. Please ensure you attend your scheduled appointment to avoid losing your payment.

3. Counselor Cancellations

If a counselor cancels a session, the client will receive a full refund. Kounsel prioritizes a smooth and respectful experience for all users.

4. Cancellation & Refund Timeline

To qualify for a refund, cancellations must be made within the following timeframes:

Cancellation Timeframe Refund Amount
48 hours or more before the session Full refund (100%)
24 hours before the session 90% refund
12 hours before the session 50% refund

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund.
