How to Get Started

  1. Download the App & Create an Account
  • Available for Android and iOS.
  • Sign up for free to start exploring services.

2.  Select a Service Category

  • Choose the category that best fits your needs, such as health, legal, or counseling services.

3.  Find the Right Counselor

Browse a list of professionals based on skills and expertise. Use filters to refine your search by:

  • Location
  • Rate
  • Language
  • Type of service
  • Ratings and availability

4.  Book Your Appointment

  • Click on a counselor’s profile to view their availability.
  • Select a date and time that works for you.
  • Click “Book Appointment.”

5.  Make a Secure Payment

  • Pay for your session using PayPal or a credit card within the app.
  • No additional charges from Kounsel.
  • No international call fees when using our phone service.

Requirements

  • A valid license issued by a state authority in your specialty.
  • A smartphone (Android/iPhone) with a stable internet connection and clear audio/video capacity.

Documents

  • Government-issued photo ID.
  • A valid license in your specialty.

Signup process

  • Apply online or through the Kounsel app by completing a counselor profile.
  • Submit any required documents.
  • Pass a Screening/Background check.

What else do you need to know to become a counselor?

  • Currently, we are only accepting counselors in the US, but we will expand to other countries in due time.
  • You do not have to commit exclusively to Kounsel; you can also work other jobs.
  • You are in charge of your own rate, meaning that only you decide on the amount.
  • At Kounsel, we work very hard to promote the app so that you and all of our registered counselors can get as many clients as possible.
