Notification: Control How Clients Will Connect With You

In the notification settings, you will be able to set up when and what Kounsel will send you. The first and second options in notifications are related to appointments.

Appointment

Each time a client schedules an appointment with you, you will receive a notification unless you turn off this feature.

Event Status

Status notifications are related to change in appointment status. Let's say a client creates an appointment and you accept it. In this case, the client will receive a notification if this setting is turned on for the counselor.  Similarly, if the client cancels the appointment later on as a counselor you will receive a notification letting you know the client canceled the appointment.

Payment Notification

This is sent when you receive payment from the client. Message and file notifications are delivered each time you receive a new message or someone shares a file with you.

Message

Each time a client sends you a message or books an appointment with you, you will receive an email. if you don’t want to receive email alerts in your inbox you can disable this option here on notifications settings.

File Sharing

We also have appointments, messages, and file-sharing notifications settings. For appointments, you can select if you would like to get an email just once every time you get a new appointment or each time an appointment status is changed. It will be set to a “new appointment” as default.

  1. Start the app.
  2. Click on the Menu icon on the top left corner.
  3. Scroll down and click "Settings"
  4. From settings, click “Notification”.
  5. Configure your notifications accordingly.
