Scheduling appointments on Kounsel

SCHEDULING MADE EASY ON KOUNSEL

We are all busier than ever and creating a work-life balance or managing schedules can be a real challenge. Kounsel is designed to match today’s fast-paced lifestyle with built-in appointment, planner and scheduling modules to make managing all those tasks simple.

Easy ways to book an appointment

Once a client has chosen the counselor they’d like to work with, scheduling an appointment can be done easily through the counselor’s profile or from the chat feature.

The appointment icon is only visible to clients and is not displayed on a counselor’s profile.

Booking an appointment with a counselor

When a client is ready to schedule an appointment, they need to know the counselor’s availability at a glance.

If the counselor preference is set to “ with appointment” option, the client must book an appointment before having a session with the counselor. If the counselor chooses another value or none in preference, the client can contact the counselor directly without booking an appointment.

The Kounsel planner user interface gives clients the option to view a counselor’s availability by day, week or month so that they can propose a time for an appointment easily.

What happens after a client makes an appointment?

Once a client proposes a date and time, the counselor will receive a notification on their phone or by email depending on the counselor’s preferences.

An appointment is only confirmed once a counselor accepts the client’s proposed date and time. The client will then be notified that the appointment has been set.

Appointment preferences

In the settings section, Kounsel gives counselors the option of providing their services by appointment only.

If the “with appointment” option is set, a client will not be able to call the counselor without making an appointment first.

What happens during an appointment?

If a counselor is using the “By appointment” preference, the appointment details screen is where the client will be able to actually call the counselor by clicking on the phone icon on the upper-right hand corner of the screen.
