At Kounsel, we understand the importance of connecting with your counselor, but due to high demand, direct calls may not always be available. To ensure an efficient and organized experience, we offer a structured appointment system that allows you to schedule sessions at your convenience.

How to Book and Access Your Appointment

  • Scheduled Appointments Preferred: Counselors typically manage their availability through scheduled sessions to provide dedicated time for each client.
  • Appointment Confirmation: Once your request is accepted, you will find the dialing option under the "Appointments" section in your Side Menu. This provides a direct connection to your counselor.
  • Prepaid Appointments: Payments are processed once your counselor accepts the appointment request, based on their listed rate and the session duration.
  • Payment for Older Android Versions: If you are using an older version of the Android app, you will be charged after the session, with the final amount reflecting the actual duration of your consultation.

By scheduling in advance, you can ensure a timely and dedicated session with your counselor.


Refund Policy

Kounsel offers a structured refund policy for prepaid appointments, with different terms for clients and counselors.

For Clients

Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation occurs:

  • 48 hours or more before the appointment – Full refund (100%)
  • 24 hours before the appointment – 90% refund
  • 12 hours before the appointment – 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours before the appointment – No refund

For Counselors

  • If a counselor cancels an appointment, the client will receive a full refund.

These policies ensure fairness and transparency, allowing both clients and counselors to manage their time effectively.
