Getting Paid with Kounsel: Fast, Easy, and Tax-Friendly!

At Kounsel, we make sure you get your hard-earned money hassle-free. Currently, we offer two payment options: PayPal and direct deposit, with PayPal being the smoothest route.

When a counselor opts for PayPal, we use their Kounsel sign-up email to create an account and transfer their earnings. It's important to remember that, in accordance with Federal Tax Laws, we're required to report all payouts to the tax authorities.

If you have pending payments, our Payment Team will reach out to you to help set up the payout. Rest assured; we'll get in touch only if there's money waiting for you in our system. 💸

How to view pending payments in Kounsel:

Mobile Users

1. Start the app.
2. Click on the Menu icon in the top left corner.
3. From the menu, click “Transactions” to view your earning status.

Web Users

1. Open the www.kounsel.io page.
2. Click “Login” on the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and password to access your account.
4. From the home page, click on “Transactions” to view your earning status.

Wondering about your payment schedule?

You'll receive your payment right after your first appointment. Once your client has been charged, and the money is safely in your Kounsel account, our payment team will reach out to you to get your payout all sorted. You'll be paid promptly!
